RMAS is happy to host, for the first time, judgement day, a steel sparring open longsword tournament.
The tournament will take place at Ward Road Gym 14 Ward Rd, Dundee DD1 1NE on May 26th, 12pm-8pm. The facility contains changing rooms with plenty of room for storing equipment.
The tournament is expected to run as follows
12pm: doors open, setup begins
12.15pm: registration opens, competitors must register with tournament organisers to confirm their presence.
12:45pm: registration closes, pools are generated and opening statements begin, this will include a reiteration of the rules and expectations the competitors will be operating under.
1pm: Pools fights begin.
4.30pm: pool fights end, competitors will break for a late lunch while eliminations are generated.
5pm: competitors reconvene and eliminations are announced.
5.15pm: eliminations begin
7pm: finals conclude
7.15pm: final statements are given, award ceremony conducted
7.30pm: reset venue, gather equipment return furniture to where it was found etc.
7.45pm: leave Venue

All equipment specified in the ruleset can be provided by RMAS, save for groin protection which MUST be self sourced by all participants.
Note due to shortages within jackets and gloves there may be a need to share equipment with other participants. If this is to occur all equipment being shared will be sanitised and allowed to air out for several minutes between uses in order to remain hygenic.
You must have personal martial arts practitioners insurance, such as from being a registered member of an academy of historical arts affiliated HEMA club, in order to participate
