Room 1007 & 1009, Old College, Abertay University, Dundee
From £5.00
Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating Burns Night, a cherished Scottish tradition honouring Robert Burns, Scotland’s best-known and most-loved poet.
Each year, Burns is celebrated with a traditional supper, and we’re delighted to bring this experience to you. Enjoy a classic menu of haggis, neeps and tatties, served in true ceremonial style. The haggis will be formally Addressed to the Haggis by a Chieftain of a Scottish Clan, before being served for all to enjoy.
After supper, keep the celebrations going with a traditional ceilidh — a lively and welcoming Scottish dance, perfect for all abilities.
Never Ceilidh danced before? Don’t sweat it!
No experience needed — ceilidh dancing is all about having fun. We run weekly dance sessions every Tuesday during term time from 18:30 - 20:30 in Room 1009, where you can learn the steps in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
Come along, build your confidence, and get some practice in before the big night!
